The International Cricket Council (ICC) has rejected the request made by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to shift the venue of Bangladesh’s upcoming matches. The ICC confirmed that all fixtures involving Bangladesh will go ahead in India as per the original schedule.
Officials stated that the decision was taken to maintain the integrity of the tournament schedule and ensure smooth conduct of matches. The ICC emphasized that logistical arrangements and security protocols in India remain fully in place.
The BCB had sought changes citing concerns, but the ICC reiterated that the tournament framework cannot be altered at this stage. The ruling underscores the governing body’s commitment to consistency and fairness in international cricket scheduling.
