More than one lakh Enumeration Forms have been digitised in Delhi as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, marking significant progress in the voter verification and enrolment exercise.
Election officials said the digitisation process is aimed at ensuring greater accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in updating the electoral database ahead of upcoming elections.
The exercise involves the verification of voter details, correction of inaccuracies, and inclusion of eligible voters, with field officials collecting and processing Enumeration Forms across the National Capital.
Authorities said the use of digital technology has accelerated the scrutiny and validation of records while reducing the possibility of duplication and errors in the electoral rolls.
The Election Commission continues to monitor the progress of the Special Intensive Revision, urging eligible citizens to cooperate with officials and ensure that their electoral details are accurate and up to date.
