New Delhi, August 25: India’s BRICS Chairship is being guided by the principle of “Humanity First”, BRICS Sherpa Sudhakar Dalela said, highlighting India’s focus on inclusive development, cooperation and people-centric outcomes.
Dalela said the approach reflects India’s broader vision for BRICS and its commitment to ensuring that the grouping remains responsive to the needs and aspirations of developing countries.
He emphasised the importance of strengthening cooperation among BRICS member countries in areas such as economic growth, sustainable development, technology, health and people-to-people exchanges.
The Sherpa noted that India’s chairship seeks to place human welfare and practical cooperation at the centre of the BRICS agenda while promoting dialogue among member states.
India’s “Humanity First” approach is aimed at giving greater emphasis to inclusive and sustainable growth and strengthening collaboration among emerging economies.
