Patna, November 5, 2025 — The Election Commission of India has confirmed that polling for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections will take place tomorrow, covering 121 constituencies across the state.
Preparations are in full swing, with security arrangements, polling staff deployment, and logistical coordination underway to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the electoral process. Voters across designated districts are expected to cast their ballots between 7 AM and 6 PM.
The first phase includes constituencies from key regions such as Champaran, Mithila, Magadh, and parts of Seemanchal. The Commission has urged citizens to participate actively and responsibly, emphasizing the importance of voter turnout in strengthening democratic governance.
Special provisions have been made for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and first-time voters. Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trails (VVPATs) will be used across all polling stations.
Polling officials have reiterated their commitment to maintaining transparency, security, and accessibility throughout the election process. Results will be declared after the completion of all phases as per the official schedule.
