New Delhi, November 6, 2025 — India and Ecuador have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration between their diplomatic training institutions, marking a new chapter in bilateral capacity-building and foreign service exchange.
The agreement was signed between India’s Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service and Ecuador’s Diplomatic Academy, aiming to promote joint training programs, faculty exchanges, and sharing of best practices in diplomacy and international relations.
Officials from both countries emphasized that the MoU will foster deeper understanding of global challenges, strengthen institutional ties, and support the professional development of diplomats through structured learning and dialogue.
The initiative reflects India’s growing engagement with Latin America and its commitment to building partnerships rooted in mutual respect, knowledge exchange, and diplomatic excellence.
Future activities under the MoU will include workshops, seminars, and collaborative research on foreign policy, multilateral negotiations, and regional cooperation.
