India strongly countered Pakistan’s claims at the United Nations, rejecting the “false and fabricated” narrative surrounding the so-called ‘Operation Sindoor’. The Indian delegation asserted that Pakistan has “no locus standi” on matters related to Jammu & Kashmir, emphasizing that the region is an integral part of India.
Responding to Pakistan’s remarks, India highlighted Pakistan’s continued attempts to internationalize internal issues and spread misinformation. The Indian representative underscored that such baseless allegations are aimed at diverting global attention from Pakistan’s own record on terrorism and human rights violations.
India reiterated its position that Jammu & Kashmir is a sovereign matter, firmly rejecting external interference. The delegation also called upon Pakistan to cease its propaganda campaigns and focus instead on addressing pressing domestic challenges.
The rebuttal at the UN reflects India’s consistent diplomatic stance of exposing Pakistan’s misinformation while reinforcing its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
