BPCL has assured citizens that the supply of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) across the country will remain smooth and uninterrupted despite ongoing geopolitical tensions affecting global energy markets.
The state-run oil company said it has adequate LPG stocks and strong supply chain systems in place to meet domestic demand. It added that bottling plants and distribution networks are functioning normally to ensure timely delivery to households and commercial consumers.
The assurance comes amid concerns over crude oil price volatility and possible supply disruptions linked to regional conflicts. BPCL officials said India’s diversified energy sourcing and strategic reserves have helped reduce the impact of external pressures.
The company urged consumers not to engage in panic buying or hoarding of LPG cylinders, warning that such actions could lead to artificial shortages. It said the situation is being closely monitored in coordination with government authorities.
BPCL reiterated its commitment to maintaining energy security and ensuring the continued availability of essential fuels, including LPG, petrol and diesel, for citizens nationwide.
