Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir announced that over 30,000 government posts have been referred to recruitment agencies since last year, out of which nearly 15,000 youth have already been recruited. The announcement highlights the administration’s focus on expanding employment opportunities in the Union Territory.
Officials stated that the recruitment drive covers multiple departments, aiming to fill vacancies in education, health, public works, and other essential services. The DyCM emphasized that transparent procedures and merit-based selection have been ensured throughout the process.
The government has also initiated skill development programs to prepare youth for future opportunities, aligning with broader employment and economic growth strategies. The DyCM noted that the recruitment push is part of a larger effort to address unemployment and empower young people in Jammu and Kashmir.
With thousands of posts still under process, the administration assured that more recruitment notifications will be issued in the coming months, offering further opportunities for qualified candidates across the region.
