New Delhi, Jun 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that the principle of ‘Nation First’ has been the driving force behind India’s transformation over the past decade, guiding policies and reforms across sectors.
Addressing a gathering in New Delhi, PM Modi highlighted that every major initiative of his government has been rooted in the idea of prioritizing national interest above all else. “The principle of Nation First is not just a slogan, it is the spirit that has powered India’s transformation,” he said.
He pointed to flagship programs such as Digital India, Make in India, and Atmanirbhar Bharat as examples of initiatives designed to strengthen India’s self-reliance and global standing.
PM Modi emphasized that India’s economic growth, infrastructure development, and social welfare schemes have all been aligned with the vision of building a stronger nation. “From villages to cities, from farmers to entrepreneurs, every citizen has been part of this journey of transformation,” he added.
The Prime Minister also underlined India’s rising global profile, noting that the country’s voice is now heard with greater respect in international forums. He said that India’s commitment to peace, sustainability, and innovation reflects the Nation First approach in global affairs.
Concluding his remarks, PM Modi urged citizens to continue working together with the same spirit, ensuring that India’s transformation remains inclusive and sustainable.
