Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has emphasized that the annual Amarnath Yatra is not only a spiritual pilgrimage but also a symbol of societal unity, harmony, and mutual trust. He noted that the sacred journey brings together people from diverse backgrounds, fostering bonds of brotherhood and strengthening communal harmony across Jammu & Kashmir.
Addressing officials and community representatives, the LG highlighted that the Yatra reflects India’s rich tradition of inclusivity, where service providers, security forces, and local communities collectively ensure the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage. He stressed that the spirit of cooperation and mutual respect during the Yatra reinforces peace and strengthens social cohesion.
