Balochistan, August 25: Five more bodies have been recovered from different areas of Balochistan, including Mastung, Chaman and Sohbatpur, amid continuing violence and growing concerns over the security situation in the province.
In Mastung district, the body of an unidentified man was recovered from the Khad Kocha area. The man was reportedly found with injuries, while the circumstances surrounding his death remain under investigation.
Another unidentified body was recovered from the Chaman area and shifted to a hospital for identification and medico-legal formalities.
In Sohbatpur, three more unidentified bodies were recovered. Police shifted the bodies to a hospital and placed them in the mortuary as efforts continued to establish their identities.
The recovery of the bodies has raised fresh concerns among families of missing persons and rights groups, who have repeatedly expressed concern over alleged enforced disappearances and killings in Balochistan.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths and efforts are underway to identify the deceased and determine the exact cause of their deaths.
The latest incidents come amid continued political and security tensions in Balochistan, where militant violence, targeted attacks and allegations of human rights violations remain major concerns.
