Air India and its low-cost subsidiary Air India Express will operate a total of 48 flights to and from the West Asia region today, the airline group confirmed. The services are part of efforts to strengthen connectivity between India and Gulf destinations.
The flights include departures and arrivals across major hubs such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Muscat, Riyadh, and Jeddah, ensuring smooth travel for passengers in both directions. Officials said the schedule has been designed to meet high demand in the region.
Air India Express, which specializes in short-haul international routes, will handle a significant portion of the operations, while Air India will cover long-haul and premium services. Together, the carriers aim to provide seamless travel options for business and leisure passengers.
The announcement comes amid rising traffic between India and West Asia, driven by trade, tourism, and expatriate communities. Aviation analysts note that the expanded schedule reflects the airline group’s strategy to consolidate its presence in the Gulf market.
Passengers have welcomed the move, with the additional flights expected to ease congestion and provide more flexibility in travel plans. The airline group reiterated its commitment to reliable service and enhanced regional connectivity.
