The meeting focused on safeguarding national interests, ensuring energy security, and strengthening contingency measures amid regional tensions.
Officials briefed the Defence Minister on enhanced surveillance, maritime security, and diplomatic engagement with partner nations to mitigate risks.
Singh emphasized the importance of operational readiness of the armed forces and close coordination among defence, intelligence, and diplomatic agencies.
The IGoM reaffirmed India’s commitment to protecting its citizens and assets while supporting peace and stability in West Asia.
