New Delhi, March 25 — Defence Minister Rajnath Singh chaired a meeting of the Parliamentary Consultative Committee attached to the Ministry of Defence, where national security and operational preparedness were reviewed in detail. The meeting brought together Members of Parliament and senior defence officials to discuss current challenges and strategies.
Singh emphasized the importance of maintaining high levels of readiness across the Army, Navy, and Air Force, particularly in light of evolving regional and global security dynamics. He highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening defence infrastructure, modernizing equipment, and ensuring the welfare of armed forces personnel.
