Seychelles Foreign Minister Barry Faure has arrived in New Delhi to participate in the Raisina Dialogue 2026, India’s premier conference on geopolitics and geo-economics.
He was welcomed by Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, who emphasized the strong and multifaceted partnership between India and Seychelles, particularly in maritime security, trade, and cultural exchange.
The Raisina Dialogue, now in its 11th edition, is themed “Samskara” this year and brings together leaders and experts from over 110 countries to deliberate on pressing global challenges, including AI governance, climate geopolitics, digital public infrastructure, and strategic trade corridors.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is inaugurating the three-day event, with Finland’s President Alexander Stubb serving as the chief guest.
