India strongly rebuked Pakistan at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) after Islamabad raised remarks on Kashmir, calling Pakistan’s conduct inhuman and reflective of its attempts to externalise internal failures.
During the UNSC session, Indian representatives asserted that Pakistan continues to misuse international platforms to push a false narrative on Kashmir, while ignoring its own record of human rights violations and domestic instability.
India emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of the country and that Pakistan’s repeated interventions are diversionary tactics aimed at deflecting attention from its internal challenges, including economic distress and governance failures.
Indian officials highlighted that Pakistan’s rhetoric at the UNSC is not only misleading but also undermines the credibility of the Council’s proceedings. They stressed that Pakistan’s inhuman conduct, including support for cross-border terrorism, reflects its attempts to destabilize the region.
India reaffirmed its commitment to peace, stability, and development in Jammu and Kashmir, while urging the international community to recognize Pakistan’s persistent misuse of global forums to spread propaganda.
The sharp rebuttal underscored India’s firm diplomatic stance and its resolve to counter Pakistan’s narrative at every international platform.
