New York, July 1: India has provided over 175 million US dollars in assistance to the people of Palestine, India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, P. Harish, said today. He emphasized that the support reflects India’s longstanding commitment to humanitarian aid and solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
Harish noted that the assistance has been directed towards healthcare, education, and capacity-building projects, helping to improve living conditions and strengthen resilience among Palestinian communities. He added that India continues to advocate for peace, stability, and development in the region.
India’s representative reaffirmed that the country’s aid efforts are part of its broader vision of supporting international cooperation and sustainable development, while standing firmly with the people of Palestine in their pursuit of dignity and progress.
