New Delhi, December 30, 2025: The Union government has announced that rabi crops have been sown across more than 614 lakh hectares of land during the current season. The figures reflect strong agricultural activity and highlight the resilience of India’s farming sector.
Officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare stated that the sowing area has surpassed last year’s coverage, with wheat, pulses, and oilseeds recording significant expansion.
