IndiGo has launched 10 special flights from Jeddah to India to bring back stranded passengers affected by disruptions in West Asia airspace. The airline coordinated closely with the Consulate General of India in Jeddah and the Ministry of Civil Aviation to facilitate the repatriation effort.
The special operations were arranged after several scheduled flights were cancelled or diverted due to regional tensions. IndiGo’s initiative ensured safe travel for hundreds of passengers who were unable to return home through regular services.
Officials confirmed that additional support measures are being considered to assist Indian nationals in the region. The repatriation flights highlight the government’s commitment to safeguarding citizens abroad during times of crisis.
