Union Minister Jitendra Singh has stressed the need to change the prevailing mindset and enhance private investment in India’s space sector, underscoring that reforms alone are not enough without active industry participation.
Speaking at a recent event, Singh highlighted that India’s space economy is poised for exponential growth, but unlocking its full potential requires greater involvement of private players alongside government initiatives.
He noted that while India has made significant strides in satellite launches, exploration, and applications, the next phase of growth depends on encouraging startups, investors, and private enterprises to contribute more actively.
Singh emphasized that shifting from a government-dominated approach to a collaborative ecosystem will help India emerge as a global hub for affordable and innovative space solutions.
