Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has declared that narco-terrorists will find no place in Jammu & Kashmir, vowing they will be hunted down and dismantled.
He emphasized that narco-terrorism is not just a crime but a grave threat to national security, funding terrorism and destroying the youth’s future.
Under the “Nasha-Mukt Jammu Kashmir Campaign,” authorities have arrested over 1,100 drug smugglers, registered more than 1,000 FIRs, attached properties, and cancelled hundreds of driving licenses and passports.
Sinha described the campaign as a historic people’s movement, with rallies, padyatras, and community participation turning enforcement into a social revolution.
He assured that while traffickers will face severe justice, addicts will be offered rehabilitation, counselling, and employment opportunities to rebuild their lives.
