Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin began his two-day visit to Goa on January 30, 2026, marking his maiden tour of the coastal state after assuming charge of the party’s top post.
Nabin was received at the Manohar International Airport in Mopa, North Goa, by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, state BJP president Damodar Naik, and senior party office-bearers. He proceeded to the party headquarters in Panaji, where he addressed workers and chaired the BJP core committee meeting.
During the meeting, Nabin discussed organizational strategies with the state leadership, including Chief Minister Sawant, ministers, and senior office-bearers. The deliberations focused on strengthening the party’s grassroots presence and preparing for the upcoming assembly elections in Goa, scheduled for early next year.
Earlier in the day, Nabin visited the Mahalsa Narayani Temple at Verna in South Goa, underscoring his outreach to local communities. He later interacted with party members in Margao, engaging with district-level leaders and booth workers to review organizational preparedness.
In his address, Nabin emphasized the importance of consolidating the BJP’s organizational structure at the booth level and energizing cadres ahead of the polls. He highlighted the party’s commitment to development and governance, urging workers to connect with citizens on key issues.
The visit also included meetings with state morcha presidents, mandal incharges, and general secretaries, reflecting the leadership’s focus on strengthening internal coordination and expanding outreach across constituencies.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant expressed confidence that under Nabin’s leadership, the BJP will secure another victory in Goa, citing the enthusiasm among party workers and the government’s development record.
Nabin’s Goa tour follows his recent organizational review in West Bengal, signaling the party’s broader strategy to reinforce its presence across states ahead of critical electoral contests.
