Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged states to strengthen manufacturing and improve the Ease of Doing Business to make India a Global Services Giant.
Addressing a high-level meeting with Chief Ministers and industry leaders, the Prime Minister emphasized that India’s growth trajectory depends on robust manufacturing, simplified regulations, and seamless service delivery.
He highlighted that while India has emerged as a global hub for IT and digital services, sustained reforms in manufacturing and business processes are essential to expand the country’s role in global value chains.
Modi called upon states to adopt mission-mode strategies for industrial growth, reduce compliance burdens, and ensure transparent governance to attract investment and create jobs.
The Prime Minister underlined that strengthening both manufacturing and services will enable India to achieve its vision of becoming a leading global economic powerhouse.
