MUMBAI, Apr 7: Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster film Dhurandhar 2 continues its strong box office run, narrowly missing the all-time record set by Baahubali 2. On its 19th day, the film’s worldwide gross stood at ₹1623 crore, placing it among the highest-grossing Indian films ever.
Trade analysts noted that while Dhurandhar 2 fell just short of surpassing Baahubali 2, its performance remains extraordinary, driven by repeat audiences and strong overseas collections. The film has already broken several regional records and continues to draw crowds in multiplexes and single screens alike.
Director Aditya Dhar has been widely praised for his vision, with industry peers calling him a “genius.” Cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma also lauded the film, adding to its cultural buzz beyond cinema halls.
With Dhurandhar 2 still running successfully in theaters, distributors expect the film to maintain momentum through the coming weeks, cementing its place as one of the biggest cinematic events in recent years.
