Defence Minister Rajnath Singh hoisted the ceremonial flag at the Annapurna Temple within the Ram Temple complex in Ayodhya, marking the second anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha of the Ram Lalla idol.
The event was observed with traditional rituals and prayers, attended by devotees and officials, symbolising reverence and continuity of the historic consecration ceremony held two years ago.
Officials stated that the flag hoisting at the Annapurna Temple reflects the significance of the Pran Pratishtha anniversary, reinforcing the cultural and spiritual importance of the Ram Temple complex.
The Defence Minister highlighted the role of the Ram Temple as a symbol of faith and unity, noting that the anniversary celebrations serve as a reminder of India’s civilisational heritage.
The ceremony included devotional offerings and cultural programmes, with participation from local communities and temple authorities, underscoring the collective spirit of the occasion.
The second anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha was marked across Ayodhya with special prayers and events, reaffirming the city’s place as a prominent centre of devotion and cultural identity.
