Mumbai, November 1, 2025 — Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer has been discharged from the hospital and is currently in stable condition, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed in an official statement.
Iyer was admitted earlier this week due to a sudden health concern that required medical attention. Following a series of tests and monitoring, doctors have cleared him for home recovery.
The BCCI medical team is closely coordinating with Iyer and his family to ensure a smooth rehabilitation process. He is expected to rest for a few days before resuming light training.
“Shreyas is doing well and responding positively to treatment. We are optimistic about his return to full fitness soon,” said a BCCI spokesperson.
Fans and fellow players have expressed relief and sent their best wishes to Iyer, who remains a key figure in India’s middle-order batting lineup.
Further updates on his fitness and availability for upcoming matches will be shared by the BCCI in due course.
