Washington/Tehran, Jun 18: US President Donald Trump has signed a landmark 14-Point Peace Deal with Iran, formally ending years of conflict in West Asia. The agreement, hailed as a “historic breakthrough,” outlines measures to permanently prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, reopen trade and energy corridors, and establish mechanisms for regional stability.
The deal includes provisions for cessation of hostilities, international monitoring of Iran’s nuclear program, restoration of diplomatic ties, and economic cooperation. It also involves commitments from regional stakeholders to support enforcement and ensure long-term peace in the Middle East.
President Trump described the accord as proof that “dialogue backed by strength can achieve lasting peace.” Iranian representatives endorsed the framework under assurances of sovereignty and economic relief, while global institutions welcomed the pact as a step toward reducing tensions and securing vital energy routes.
