Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has described the Viksit Bharat–GRAM G Act, 2025 as a landmark initiative in the country’s rural development landscape. He emphasized that the Act will significantly strengthen grassroots governance and accelerate inclusive growth in villages across India.
Addressing a gathering, the Chief Minister highlighted that the Act provides a comprehensive framework for modernizing Gram Panchayat Secretariats, enhancing digital infrastructure, and ensuring effective delivery of welfare schemes. He noted that the legislation reflects the government’s commitment to empowering rural communities with technology-driven solutions.
Adityanath stated that the Act will not only improve transparency and accountability in rural administration but also create new opportunities for education, skill development, and livelihood generation. He underlined that the initiative aligns with the vision of building a self-reliant and developed Bharat.
The Chief Minister reiterated that Uttar Pradesh will play a leading role in implementing the provisions of the Act, ensuring that rural citizens benefit from state-of-the-art facilities and improved access to government services.
Officials added that the Viksit Bharat–GRAM G Act, 2025 is expected to transform rural governance by integrating digital libraries, e-governance platforms, and community-centric development programs, marking a new chapter in India’s rural progress.
