Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reiterated that Ukraine will not cede any of its territory to Russia, asserting that the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity are non‑negotiable.
Zelenskyy said Ukraine’s position remains firm despite ongoing conflict and international pressure for potential compromises. He emphasised that giving up land would undermine the nation’s security, identity and long‑term stability.
The Ukrainian leadership has repeatedly stated that any settlement must respect internationally recognised borders. Zelenskyy said Ukraine will continue to defend its territory and pursue diplomatic efforts that uphold its sovereignty.
The statement comes amid continued hostilities and global calls for a peaceful resolution, with Kyiv maintaining that territorial concessions are not an option.
