Kathua, Jun 24: A mini bus carrying pilgrims plunged into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district today, leaving 23 passengers injured. The accident occurred when the vehicle lost control while navigating a sharp curve on the hilly road.
Police and rescue teams rushed to the spot, shifting the injured to nearby hospitals. Officials confirmed that several passengers sustained fractures and serious injuries, though no fatalities were reported.
Local administration has launched an inquiry into the cause of the accident, while traffic movement in the area was briefly disrupted due to rescue operations.
