Washington, May 25: US Secretary of State Marco Rubio held a phone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to discuss the ongoing situation in Ukraine and developments related to Iran.
According to diplomatic sources, the two leaders exchanged views on the escalating conflict in Ukraine, with Rubio reiterating Washington’s concerns over continued Russian military operations and their humanitarian impact. He emphasized the need for de-escalation and respect for international law.
