The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Saturday announced the results of the Class 10 second board examinations. This supplementary round was conducted to give students an opportunity to improve their scores from the main exams held earlier this year.
According to CBSE officials, nearly 59% of the candidates who appeared for the second board exam showed improvement in their marks. The board highlighted that this initiative was aimed at reducing academic stress and offering students a fair chance to enhance their performance.
Students can access their results through the official CBSE website and DigiLocker platforms. Schools have also been instructed to provide updated mark sheets reflecting the improved scores.
Education experts have welcomed the move, noting that the supplementary exam system encourages resilience and provides a structured path for students to recover academically. Parents and teachers expressed relief that the board is prioritizing student welfare and flexibility in evaluation.
