The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cancelled the Class 10 examinations scheduled in the West Asian region from March 7 to March 11, 2026. The decision was taken in view of the escalating conflict in the region and growing security concerns for students and staff.
CBSE officials stated that the safety of students remains the top priority, and alternative arrangements will be announced once the situation stabilizes. Schools and parents have been advised to follow official notifications for updated schedules and guidelines.
The cancellation affects thousands of students across CBSE-affiliated institutions in West Asia, highlighting how the ongoing conflict is now disrupting not only politics and economics but also education systems.
CBSE has assured that revised exam dates will be communicated promptly, and students will be given sufficient time to prepare once the new schedule is finalized.
