Patna, November 6, 2025 — Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar has congratulated the people of Bihar for registering a historic voter turnout in the first phase of the Assembly elections, calling it a testament to the strength of India’s democracy.
In a statement issued after the conclusion of polling, the CEC praised voters for their enthusiastic participation and peaceful conduct, noting that the high turnout reflects growing civic awareness and trust in the electoral process.
