Thiruvananthapuram, March 27: The Election Commission of India has published the final voters list for the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections, confirming a total of 2,69,53,644 registered voters across the state’s 140 constituencies. Officials said the updated roll reflects a net deletion of nearly 8.97 lakh names compared to the October 2025 base roll, ensuring cleaner and more accurate electoral records.
The final roll includes constituency-wise details, polling station lists, and mapping of old and new EPIC numbers. Voters can verify their names through the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Kerala portal by entering their EPIC number or downloading constituency PDFs. Authorities have urged citizens to check their details early to avoid last-minute issues on polling day.
Polling for the Kerala Assembly elections will be held in a single phase on April 9, 2026, with counting scheduled for May 4, 2026. The Election Commission has emphasized transparency and accuracy in the electoral process, noting that deletions were made to remove duplicate and inactive entries.
Officials highlighted that voter awareness campaigns are being conducted across districts to encourage high turnout. The Commission has also assured strict enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct and deployment of security forces to ensure free and fair elections.
With the final voters list now published, political parties are expected to intensify their campaigns, while citizens are being urged to verify their voter details and participate actively in the democratic process.
