Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to make special arrangements for NEET candidates across 59 districts of the state. The move comes ahead of the NEET-UG re-examination scheduled for June 21, 2026, following earlier irregularities.
Officials have been instructed to ensure smooth logistics, adequate security, and proper facilities at examination centres. District administrations have been asked to coordinate with police, health, and transport departments to provide seamless support to students and parents.
The Chief Minister emphasized that candidates should not face any inconvenience on exam day. Measures include traffic management, medical aid posts, and clear communication channels to counter misinformation and ensure transparency.
Special focus will be placed on sensitive districts, with additional deployment of security personnel and monitoring teams. Authorities have also been directed to maintain strict vigilance to prevent malpractice and ensure fair conduct of the examination.
The directive reflects the government’s commitment to safeguarding students’ interests and restoring confidence in the examination process after recent controversies surrounding the NEET-UG 2026.
