The meeting highlighted progress in construction of transit accommodations, distribution of financial assistance, and skill development programmes aimed at enhancing employability among displaced communities.
Special focus was placed on healthcare outreach, with mobile medical units and district hospitals directed to prioritize migrant settlements for regular check-ups and emergency services.
Educational support schemes, including scholarships and reserved seats for children of migrant families, were reviewed to ensure continuity of learning and reduce dropout rates.
The Chief Secretary instructed departments to expedite pending projects, strengthen grievance redressal mechanisms, and maintain transparency in allocation of resources.
Officials were directed to coordinate closely with district administrations to monitor ground-level implementation and address challenges faced by migrant families.
