Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has asserted that Operation Sindoor will continue until the very ideology of terrorism is eradicated. He emphasized that India’s fight against terrorism is not limited to neutralizing militants but extends to dismantling the mindset that fuels extremism.
Speaking at the Army Day celebrations in Jaipur, the Defence Minister praised the Indian Army for its courage, restraint, and reliance on indigenous defence systems during the operation. He described Operation Sindoor as a historic symbol of India’s strength, national character, and commitment to self-reliance.
Singh highlighted that the armed forces are preparing for future forms of warfare by integrating modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, cyber capabilities, and advanced surveillance systems. He reiterated that Atmanirbharta in defence is both a necessity and a source of pride, ensuring India’s readiness for evolving challenges.
The Defence Minister underscored that the Indian Army remains a beacon of courage and sacrifice, safeguarding national sovereignty while adapting to the changing nature of warfare. He assured that the government will continue to support the armed forces in their mission to secure peace and stability.
