External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Wednesday held a detailed conversation with Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel, focusing on the latest developments in West Asia.
The two leaders exchanged assessments on the rapidly evolving regional situation, with both sides underscoring the importance of stability, restraint, and continued diplomatic engagement.
Jaishankar said in a post that the discussion covered key concerns arising from the ongoing tensions, as well as the broader implications for global security and economic interests.
Along with the regional review, the ministers also touched upon India–Portugal bilateral cooperation and ongoing collaborations in multilateral forums.
