Bathinda, July 1: Four pilgrims from Rajasthan tragically lost their lives early this morning when their four-wheeler rammed into a stationary truck on the Bathinda–Dabwali National Highway. Eight others sustained minor injuries in the crash but are said to be out of danger.
The group was travelling towards Amritsar to visit the Golden Temple before continuing their journey to the Amarnath shrine. Rescue teams rushed to the spot, and the injured were given immediate medical attention. Authorities have launched an investigation into the accident.
The incident has cast a pall of grief over the families of the victims, even as officials assured that all necessary support is being extended to those affected.
