The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast cold wave conditions at isolated places over Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh till tomorrow. The agency has also predicted thunderstorms with lightning over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands for the next two days. Meanwhile, air quality in Delhi-NCR remains in the very poor category, with the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 386 at 7 AM today. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, several areas in the city crossed an AQI of 400, including Bawana at 437, Anand Vihar at 419, the ITO area at 416, Punjabi Bagh at 401 and Patparganj at 396. In response to the worsening air quality, the Commission for Air Quality Management has enforced Stage III of the Grade
