Tel Aviv, November 5, 2025 — India and Israel have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand the scope of bilateral defence cooperation, reaffirming their strategic partnership and commitment to joint innovation in critical military domains.
The MoU was formalized during the 17th meeting of the Joint Working Group (JWG) on Defence Cooperation, co-chaired by India’s Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh and Major General (Res.) Amir Baram, Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Defence.
The agreement outlines a unified policy framework to strengthen collaboration in areas such as strategic dialogue, defence industrial partnerships, joint training, and the development of cutting-edge technologies including artificial intelligence, cyber security, and advanced research and development.
According to the Ministry of Defence, the MoU will facilitate co-development and co-production of defence systems, promote technology sharing, and enhance interoperability between the armed forces of both nations.
Officials emphasized that the pact builds on decades of trust and shared security priorities, and will serve as a catalyst for future defence engagements, innovation, and regional stability.
