President Droupadi Murmu has called for expanding economic engagement between India and North Macedonia, highlighting the immense potential for stronger cooperation in trade, investment, technology, and innovation. She stressed that closer economic ties would contribute to the shared growth and prosperity of both nations.
During her interaction with the leadership of North Macedonia, the President underscored the importance of enhancing collaboration across sectors such as information technology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, education, renewable energy, tourism, and culture. She noted that both countries enjoy warm and friendly relations based on mutual respect and shared democratic values.
President Murmu also emphasized the need to strengthen people-to-people exchanges and encourage greater business-to-business partnerships. She expressed confidence that deeper cooperation would open new opportunities for enterprises and further reinforce bilateral relations.
Reaffirming India’s commitment to fostering strong international partnerships, the President said New Delhi looks forward to working closely with North Macedonia to deepen economic cooperation and explore new avenues of collaboration for mutual benefit.
