Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) has delivered three frontline naval platforms to the Indian Navy, reinforcing the country’s maritime strength and indigenous shipbuilding capabilities.
The delivery includes advanced warships designed to enhance coastal defense, surveillance, and operational readiness. Officials said the platforms are equipped with modern technology and combat systems to meet evolving security challenges.
GRSE, one of India’s leading shipyards, has played a pivotal role in supporting the Navy’s modernization drive, with a strong track record of delivering vessels on schedule.
The induction of these platforms is expected to significantly boost the Navy’s operational flexibility, enabling it to respond more effectively to threats in the Indian Ocean region.
Defense analysts noted that the delivery underscores India’s push for self-reliance in defense production, aligning with the government’s ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative.
