Indian Naval Ship Sunayna arrived at Yangon Harbour, Myanmar, on May 6, 2026, as part of a goodwill visit aimed at strengthening maritime cooperation between India and Myanmar.
The offshore patrol vessel was welcomed by officials of the Myanmar Navy and representatives of the Indian Embassy in Yangon. The visit underscores India’s commitment to enhancing regional security and fostering naval diplomacy in the Indo-Pacific.
During its stay, INS Sunayna will engage in professional exchanges, joint training activities, and community outreach programs, reflecting the growing defense partnership between the two nations.
