CBSE has clarified that there has been no security breach in its On-Screen Marking (OSM) system used for evaluating answer books.
The alleged compromised portal was only a testing site with sample data, not the live evaluation platform where actual student records are processed.
CBSE confirmed that no marks, evaluation records, or official examination data were exposed, reassuring students and parents about the integrity of the evaluation process.
The OSM system was introduced to improve transparency in assessments and includes grievance redressal mechanisms and robust security safeguards.
The clarification comes after reports by a student hacker who claimed vulnerabilities in the portal, but CBSE emphasized that the live evaluation system remains secure.
