Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched development projects worth over ₹3,770 crore in Odisha, focusing on cooperative, dairy, and industrial growth. The initiatives include expansion of the dairy sector under White Revolution 2.0, strengthening of OMFED cooperatives, and the inauguration of IFFCO’s Sulphuric Acid Plant-III at Paradip.
Odisha also became the first state to implement the Cooperative Policy 2026, aligned with the national framework “Sahkar Se Samriddhi” and the state’s vision “Samriddh Odisha-2036.” The projects aim to boost rural incomes, enhance fertilizer production, and create employment opportunities.
