The Centre has announced that temporary restrictions on the sale and distribution of petrol and diesel will be withdrawn from 1st July, restoring normal supply operations across the country.
Officials stated that the restrictions, imposed earlier to safeguard domestic availability during a period of heightened demand and logistical strain, will no longer be necessary as supply chains have stabilized.
From 1st July, fuel outlets and distributors will resume regular operations without limitations, ensuring smoother access for consumers and industries dependent on petroleum products.
The government emphasized that the decision reflects improved stock positions and a commitment to maintaining uninterrupted energy access for citizens and businesses.
