Abu Dhabi, Dec 02: The United Arab Emirates marked its 54th National Day with grand celebrations across all seven emirates, showcasing the nation’s unity, heritage, and remarkable progress since its formation. Residents, expatriates, and tourists joined in a series of cultural programmes, military displays, fireworks, and public events organised throughout the country.
Official ceremonies highlighted the UAE’s journey of transformation under its leadership, paying tribute to the Founding Fathers while reaffirming the nation’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and global cooperation. Leaders praised the UAE’s achievements across sectors including technology, space, infrastructure, and humanitarian outreach.
As part of the celebrations, iconic landmarks in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and other emirates were illuminated with the national colours, while public spaces hosted traditional art performances, music shows, parades, and family-oriented activities.
The UAE government extended its gratitude to citizens and residents for their contributions to the nation’s development, emphasising the spirit of unity and shared progress that defines the federation.
