New Delhi: Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan has urged students to keep learning new skills and adapt to the rapid changes taking place in technology and the workplace.
Addressing students, the Vice President said education should not stop with what is taught in classrooms. He encouraged young people to develop practical skills, stay curious and continue learning as new technologies change the way people work and communicate.
He said technological developments are creating new opportunities for young people but are also changing the skills expected by employers. Students, therefore, need to remain flexible and be prepared to learn and adapt throughout their careers.
The Vice President also stressed the importance of combining technical knowledge with qualities such as communication, creativity, discipline and teamwork. He said these abilities can help students deal with changing demands and make better use of new opportunities.
Radhakrishnan encouraged students to make use of digital tools and emerging technologies while also developing a strong understanding of their chosen fields. He said technology should be used as a tool for learning, innovation and solving real-world problems.
He also highlighted the importance of education in preparing young people to contribute to the country’s development. Students, he said, have an important role in shaping India’s future and should approach their education with a sense of responsibility.
The Vice President’s message comes at a time when artificial intelligence, automation and other emerging technologies are rapidly changing workplaces and creating demand for new skills. For students, continuous learning and the ability to adapt are becoming increasingly important as they prepare for their professional careers.
